Update on Randy Orton's Injury from WWE TTTT, Video of The Shield Attack on SmackDown

- It was originally reported that Randy Orton suffered a wrist injury at WWE's Tribute to The Troops tapings but a high level WWE source confirms that he dislocated his shoulder. Orton injured the same shoulder he hurt a few years back while pounding the mat.

WWE's website has a storyline article up on Orton's injury, blaming it on the attack from The Shield on last night's SmackDown. It doesn't sound like Orton will be missing much time. In the storylines, WWE first said that Orton had the separated shoulder and possibly a concussion. They updated later and said that Orton was taken to a local hospital and did not have a concussion. They added that Orton may be able to compete.

Here's the video of Orton being attacked by Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns on SmackDown:

Kurt Angle Labels "Stone Cold" Steve Austin "Underrated", Robbie E's Tips On Being A "Bro"

- Speaking to English digital publication Hooked on Wrestling, TNA Wrestling star Kurt Angle labeled WWE Hall of Famer and former rival "Stone Cold" Steve Austin "underrated."

"One of the most underrated wrestlers – not entertainers, but wrestlers – in the history of professional wrestling," said Angle of the 6-time WWE Champion. "He changed the face of wrestling. I wrestled him in my first year in the business, and I knew nothing. Austin carried me through every match that we had."

Hooked on Wrestling is available online here.

- In Robbie E's latest blog for Spike.com, the former TNA Television and X Division Champion offers tips on how to be a "bro." One vital requirement concerns grooming.

"To be a proper bro, one must be properly groomed. Which consists of trimmed nose hairs, ears regularly cleaned, and so on," wrote E. "And if I have to tell you to use a ton of product in your hair and keep your tan perfect, you should probably just stop reading now, because you'll never be a bro."

E has also re-launched his official website, Robbie-E.com.

Booker T Offers His Thoughts On The Late Chris Benoit, Rene Dupree Resurfaces

- Speaking to Inside Wrestling, Booker T was asked for comment on the late Chris Benoit after working closely with him for a number of years. The SmackDown General Manager is asked how he separates Benoit's wrestling accomplishments and friendship with him from the horrible event that occurred in 2007.

"I separate them because I have to," said Booker. "You can't put the two together. I think of the Chris I knew on the road and in Japan, eating the frickin' noodles, traveling and working together for years. I can't put those two people together because I really think the two were different people at the time. We'll never know what happened, and that's the thing: We don't know. The brain is a fragile machine, because you can live with a person for 30 years and then they kill you one day."

- The Prime Time Players, Darren Young and Titus O'Neil, appear at Cricket Communications in Dayton, Ohio, on Saturday beginning at 4:00 p.m.

- After recently returning to North America, Rene Dupree competed in his first match in the United States since leaving WWE on Saturday in Rahway, New Jersey for Pro Wrestling Syndicate. He lost a Four-Way match, which also featured Dan Maff, Devon Moore and the winner, The Dynamic Sensation.

Dupree competed in Japan and Europe during his time away from North America. Though still muscular, he has since lost a considerable amount of weight.

Kofi Kingston On Randy Orton Yelling At Him During A Match, Whether He Would Turn Heel

WWE Superstar and current Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston spoke with 'Smacktalk Radio Live' Thursday night. You can listen to the interview in its entirety and the latest episode of SRLradio by going to SmacktalkRadioLive.com or by looking up 'Smacktalk Radio Live' in the iTunes store. Follow @SRLradio on Twitter.

Kofi spoke on a variety of topics to help promote the upcoming WWE 'Survivor Series' PPV:

The Survivor Series elimination match: "Obviously with myself, I've had a rivalry pretty much (at some point in the past) with everyone who is on my team right now…The Miz, he and I have gone back and forth and pretty much hating each other for the past month and a half, so it really brings an interesting dynamic because no one really knows where the Miz's mind is at right now…I can't say that I trust him…I've never known him to be a good guy so I need to have my eyes peeled for the Miz specifically and then everyone on my team, but hopefully we can put our differences aside and come together and win this match because none of us want to lose to anyone on Team Ziggler."

Evan Bourne: "Yeah, Evan is doing alright, he has been doing some rehab for his ankle. For those who don't know, he got into a pretty bad motorcycle accident and pretty much broke almost every bone in his foot…but he's doing great and he has a real positive attitude…he'll be back before we know it and doing what he does best and that’s fly around the ring and do all types of superhero/action figure-esque video game type moves…he should be back hopefully soon, not sure the exact timetable on it but yeah he's doing great."

Whether Kofi has ever wanted to turn on the WWE Universe and become a bad-guy: "To be honest, I've always been a guy who looks at everything with a pretty positive outlook. As far as going the other way, it really is up to the WWE Universe…As long as everyone is boom-clapping with me, I'll stay with them because I appreciate the WWE Universe and I realize that without them there is no us, there is no me….I don't want to say never, you never say never in the WWE…

"As far as me becoming a bad guy, the line is so blurred these days, not like back in the 80's where you had Hulk Hogan come out and tell people to eat their vegetables and take their vitamins and he was a good guy, and then you had other guys come out and frown at the crowd and insult the crowd and automatically be bad guys….all of a sudden you had 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin do bad guy things and he was getting cheered where Bret Hart was doing everything right and all of a sudden he was getting booed. There is no clear-cut good-guy and bad-guy line these days, it really depends on the WWE Universe and how they start reacting to certain people. Specifically me, I guess we'll have to wait and see."

His match against Randy Orton in January 2010 where Randy was heard yelling 'stupid': "Everyone knows Randy kinda has an attitude, so that's Randy being Randy. What everyone doesn't remember is that we were in a heated rivalry so a lot of what you saw was him being his character and him kinda playing to that. I thought it was real funny when I started reading these things like 'Randy Orton doesn't like Kofi', which I think is fine because it added to what we were doing at the time, it made people more interested in what we were doing…it is what it is…."

WWE Expected To Release Wrestlers, Charles Wright Appearing As Papa Shango; Tyson Kidd

With Linda McMahon's U.S. Senate campaign over, WWE is expected to release wrestlers from their contracts on a more regular basis. According to PWInsider.com, there are people in and out of the organization who feel officials were holding off on purging talent more frequently this year to prevent her campaign from receiving negative press since she branded herself as a job creator. Chavo Guerrero On Whether WWE Took Notice Of TNA, Vince McMahon and Dixie Carter, WCW

Speaking to Wrestling101.com, Chavo Guerrero commented on whether people in WWE took notice of TNA Wrestling during his tenure with the sports-entertainment organization.

"At first it wasn't, TNA was seen as just coming up in the business but then little by little they started to pick up more momentum and at this point in time I think TNA has the most momentum we have ever had," said Guerrero. "If you look at our roster compared to anybodies, WWE’s, New Japan, Ring of Honor, I think we have the best roster in the world right now."

Having worked for Eric Bischoff, Vince McMahon and Dixie Carter, Guerrero compared the three bosses in terms of their similarities and differences.

"First of all they are all great businessmen and women, they are at the head of companies because being a business person you have to be able to make those hard decisions and make good decisions, so that’s the similarities," Guerrero said. "Differences, to me you have Vince McMahon who rules with fear, you better watch out or he’s going to cut your head off. Dixie Carter she rules with love and she is happy to have you on her roster and when you do well she lets you know about it. Eric Bischoff, he was kind of in the middle, sometimes he was very mean and wanted to bite your head off and other times you would go out for a beer with the guy."

After only competing for two years, Chavo Guerrero received his first break with World Championship Wrestling in 1996. He recalls his time with the company.

"Wrestling in WCW was awesome because I was so young and it was a great mix of wrestlers. We had older wrestlers that had been around since my dads time like Arn Anderson and Paul Orndorff then we had the younger generation wrestlers which included guys like William Regal and Fit Finlay, then there were the likes of Eddie, Dean Malenko and Chris Benoit, and even younger guys like Rey Mysterio and Chris Jericho," said Guerrero.

"There was such a big mix of people that we really learned all different styles from all different eras. Every era of wrestling changes, it is always evolving, so we learnt so many different things and that’s what I took away with me the most from my time in WCW, it was just like going to school, I was at the Harvard for wrestling."

Guerrero also recalls being part of the Cruiserweight division in WCW, the final episode of WCW Monday Nitro, joining WWE, winning the WWE Tag Team Championship with Eddie Guerrero, working alongside Vickie Guerrero, comparisons of WCW to TNA Wrestling, and more. The full interview is available here.

Kurt Angle Says TNA Dropped The Ball On Two Wrestlers, Watch The Impact Post Show

- Promoting TNA Wrestling's upcoming tour of the United Kingdom and British Boot Camp in an interview with The Sun, Kurt Angle feels the company has underutilized Doug Williams and Magnus.

"I think that TNA as a whole might have dropped the ball a little bit with Doug Williams and Magnus, when you look at the talent they have," said Angle. “They are starting to use Magnus and I believe they have big plans for him. But the reason I thought they might have dropped the ball is because he was so young when he started. They might have thought ‘he’s just a baby, we can wait,’ but four years later he’s still only 25."

The interview is available here.

- TNA Wrestling has posted its latest IMPACT Post Show. Here is the synopsis: "Jeremy Borash is standing by as IMPACT WRESTLING goes off the air along with Todd Kenely. We hear from Bobby Roode right after his match with James Storm. Christopher Daniels is also on hand to give more insight into what happened between him and AJ Styles. Booker T Recalls Giving Batista A "Pretty Good Beating" During 2006 Fist Fight

Speaking to Fighting Spirit Magazine (available at FightingSpiritMagazine.co.uk), Booker T recalled his physical altercation with Batista on May 8, 2006 at a commercial photo shoot in Encino, California for that year's SummerSlam pay-per-view event.

Batista, who rose to main event status in a relatively short period of time, was already unpopular within the locker room due to his lack of respect for those who came before him coupled with a sense of entitlement. That day, Booker T took issue with The Animal's poor demeanor.

According to eyewitness reports, Booker T challenged Batista to "[go] into an empty room and go for it." The two fought for approximately five minutes in the room, with Booker T dominating the muscle-bound wrestler. After the two were separated by fellow wrestlers, Batista snuck in one last sucker punch on Booker T just as he did immediately after the decorated wrestler closed the door to signal the start of fray.

Finlay, who was among the wrestlers who broke up the brawl, said during an earlier interview with the publication that the story was blown out of proportion. Booker T disagreed with his assessment.

"It wasn't blown out of proportion. He took a pretty good beating," said the SmackDown General Manager.

"The thing is, when you're in a fight, it's different from an MMA fight. That's the thing with me. I've fought my whole life. You don't just call a person out to a fight if you don't know their background, what they've been through, and how to test them. That was his mistake, and I think it was definitely a case of him underestimating me, and thinking he was the bigger guy. For me fighting is in the blood, and it's something I grew up doing. Honestly though, I hope Batista does well (in MMA), even just for the business' sake."

Ziggler says anyone who believed he would cash in is a sheep like the rest.

- WWE cameras also spoke with Rey and Cara after the match. Rey said their win at Hell In a Cell only makes them stronger going forward. Rey translated for Cara as he talked about the spot in their match where Cara landed on his head. Cara saw a doctor backstage and everything was good. Tara Signs New Contract With TNA Wrestling, Watch "Before The Bell: Bound For Glory"

- TNA Wrestling has released its Before The Bell broadcast previewing Bound For Glory on Sunday, October 14. Before The Bell features exclusive interviews with Bobby Roode, James Storm, Jeff Hardy, Austin Aries and more as they prepare for the annual pay-per-view event.

- Tara, who has received a renewed push in TNA Wrestling in recent weeks, revealed during an interview Friday with PWTorch Livecast that she recently signed a one-year contract with the organization.

"I just recently signed another year, so I'm pretty happy. I hope everyone knows the passion - I love what I do. I hope people see that love," she said.

The veteran grappler explained that she only signs contracts on a year-to-year basis due to her physical state. This, however, has led to brief departures from the organization.

"I signed for a year and they wanted to a three-year (contract), but I said, 'I just do year-to-year. I have to listen to my body, and I don't want to be locked into anything,'" she said. "Then, my contract expired (in 2010) and it was just negotiations. It was not that I wanted to leave, but it was the paperwork. I don't like that part of the business at all. Then, the next year (2011), it expired again and we had to go through it again."

Tara also commented on challenging Miss Tessmacher for the TNA Women's Knockout Championship at Bound For Glory, the state of the Knockouts division and recalled a conversation she had that prompted her to part ways with WWE in 2009. The 17-minute interview is available here.

Despite recent friction between the veteran wrestler and CMLL, she will return to the promotion this Tuesday for their show in Guadalajara.

While she was away, CMLL falsely advertising her for multiple shows in an effort to hurt her reputation. Organization officials were reportedly displeased with the wrestling standout for taking it upon herself to work a two-month tour for the Japanese promotion when their official women’s wrestling partner in the country is REINA. It was also claimed that Dark Angel arranged her own deal with the Japanese promotion, thus shutting out CMLL of financial compensation.

Rob Van Dam Reveals When His TNA Contract Expires - What Will He Do Then?

- TNA wrestler Rob Van Dam recently appeared on Joe McDonnell Uncensored and confirmed that his TNA contract expires in March 2013. RVD talked about his future:

"I walked away from every wrestling company I’ve ever worked for, except for one. When I first started out, the first territory I did in the summer of '91 was USWA. It was the Jarretts’. So when my contract runs out with TNA, who even knows if Jeff is one of the bosses anymore, it’s so confusing. But if he is and it’s their decision, if they say, 'Thanks, we enjoyed it’ and we walk off, it’ll be like the only two times in my career (that's happened). Every other time meaning WWE twice, ECW, WCW, All Japan, everywhere – I’ve always been like, ‘All right I’ve had enough.' I felt like I knew when it was time to go. I never had any regrets."

"Right now this could actually be my last gig, I don’t know. When my deal’s up (in March), I don’t even know what I want. People are asking, ‘Oh, are you going to WWE?’ I honestly don’t know what I want to happen. I’m more of go with the flow, let’s see what happens. Anyway, it’s possible that when it’s up that I could maybe not even sign another full-time deal, who knows. It’s possible, which would make this my last full-time gig."

- We noted earlier this week that Vince McMahon was seen upset at Monday's RAW. By the time the night was over, it's said that he was in a much better mood for the Jim Ross Appreciation Night stuff that happened after RAW. One of the reasons Vince is in a bad mood these days is because USA Network officials aren't happy with the way things are going with three-hour RAW shows.

- There is talk backstage that Vince has soured on the Brodus Clay "Funkasaurus" character, which is why the push he had going has stalled. We noted months ago that Clay may be going back to his old monster gimmick and that seems more likely now.

- There was a very negative backstage reaction to the World Championship Debate with Booker T, Sheamus and Big Show on Monday's RAW. Going into RAW, they wanted to put some focus on Show vs. Sheamus but had no idea things would fall apart the way they did.

Chavo & Hernandez Interview: Chavo Joining TNA, Teaming Together, BFG

How the situation presented itself for Chavo to become part of the TNA roster and why the company has indeed lived up to his personal and professional expectations thus far: "To be honest, I didn't really know if I was going to TNA, or if I was gonna stop wrestling, or what I really was going to do. I knew I was going to take some time off, and regroup, and regain some of my sanity after going 12 years in the WWE. Sometimes you have to do that. We just started talking back and forth a bit, me and TNA, over a two-month period, and we decided that would be a good fit. We tried, and it has been working really, really good. I'm just so happy to be there. It's just nice to have people really appreciate your work, because sometimes people just expect that and never thank you, so it's a good thing."

Their initial thoughts when they found out they were going to team up together and why their tag team is "a completely different dynamic" from Los Guerreros or The LAX: (Hernandez): "When Chavo came to TNA, everyone talked about the family heritage and experience, but what they don't realize is that this guy is reinventing himself. Every match, he's breaking out something you haven't seen before, or he hasn't done in a while."

(Chavo): "Don't confuse our tag team with Hernandez's previous tag team partners. Much respect to Homicide. He's my boy. And with Konnan, the only thing we have in common is that we are Latinos. We are not LAX. They are not just plugging me in as 'the new Mexican guy.' It's a completely different dynamic. This is not Los Guerreros or LAX. It's completely different."

Why they are looking forward to their three-way Match (vs. Kurt Angle/"The Phenomenal AJ Styles and "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels/Kazarian) for the TNA World Tag Team Titles at Bound For Glory: (Hernandez): "Kurt Angle, in my opinion, is hands down the best performer in the world right now. That's just how it goes. AJ is AJ. He is the man. This guy truly is phenomenal. He could do anything his body lets him do it's just crazy. It's going to take all of my power and everything Chavo can come up with to become (TNA World) Tag Team Champions."

(Chavo): "Kazarian and Daniels are the champs, and they are both really good. They both know how to hold onto those Tag Team belts. I think we match really well against them, because one thing they don't have is the power. I'm just looking forward to getting to Bound for Glory and facing the

King Mo Talks About His Training, Bound For Glory, Hogan-Flair & More

Busted Open satellite radio show with King Mo
Host: Dave Lagreca and Doug Mortman
Airs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
Sirius 94 and XM 208 from 2-4 ET

Where does he feel he is at with his wrestling training: "As far as where I’m at, I’m still a baby. Some people it takes years. Some people it takes a few months. I’m hoping it takes a few months, but I want to be on the level of Kurt Angle. If I could get to that level in a few years, I’ll be alright. I still have a long way to go. I’m willing to spend the time and dedication to get there."

What his role will be as enforcer in the James Storm/Bobby Roode falls count anywhere match? "I guess I’m a referee and an enforcer. I figure if I’m the guest enforcer, I might as well be the referee as well..I’m cool with anyplace besides the bathroom. I don’t want to be slapping one, two, three and there is piss on the floor. I don’t care if its dirty, I just don’t want any bodily fluids on the floor. If it’s blood, I’m ok with it. Any type of urine, I don’t want to deal with that."

Will he fill the void of the lack of bad-asses in wrestling: "Here is the thing. Most of the guys who played the badass role are terrible wrestlers. I’m not saying I’m better than them, but I’m hoping I’m the badass with also being a good worker. The Ultimate Warrior was a badass but he wasn’t any good. Goldberg they said was horrendous. I’ve seen guys like Nathan Jones who wasn’t any good. So guys who played that badass role tend to be terrible workers. I want to change that perception. If I’m going to be a badass in this business, I want to be known as a guy that worked well too."

Which career would he rather have? Ric Flair or Hulk Hogan? "I’m more of a Ric Flair fan. NWA and WCW that was all me. I loved Hulk Hogan, but to me Sting and Ric Flair were those guys that got me star struck. I’d rather be Ric Flair. The cars, Space Mountain, the women, I’d much rather be Ric Flair."

Talks about his debut on Impact Wrestling: "Right now I’m nervous. My armpits are sweating. I’m nervous, but when I get out there I’m just going to be me. I’m going to let it come natural. I’m not going to try to force anything. I’m just going to be me. You see guys out there that play a role that’s just not them. The crowd is on to it and they don’t buy it. The people who play the role that is similar to them, a bigger version of them, then the crowd eats it up."

The feeling from developmental was that Guerrero is not a very good wrestler but is a great talker with lots of charisma.

- Regarding Kelly Kelly and Beth Phoenix leaving WWE, most in the company are under the impression that Kelly won't be back anytime soon. Beth is scheduled to finish up in October and she is expected back in the future. A source describes Beth's departure as it just being time for to leave. There's also speculation that Beth is leaving in part to help take care of her boyfriend Edge after he has neck surgery in early November.

- We've noted that a source close to the WWE Divas division expects other Divas to be leaving soon. There has been no talk of WWE Divas Champion Eve Torres leaving but officials are aware of her recent change in life. WWE to Offer Brock Lesnar Less Money Next Year?, More on Kelly Kelly's Departure

- WWE has added Kelly Kelly to their Alumni roster. A person close to the former WWE Diva says we can expect to see a lot of announcements about new projects from her in the coming months.

- We noted before that most people within WWE expect the company to re-sign Brock Lesnar, especially now that the SummerSlam buyrate has come out.

The feeling is that WWE will offer him another deal but at a lower pay rate than his current deal. Unconfirmed reports earlier this year stated that Lesnar likely signed his current deal for around $5 million.

At the same time, one source says Lesnar will bring a lot more negotiating power to the table this time around because he's proven that he can sell pay-per-views.

Backstage Talk About John Cena, Sara Del Rey's New Role with WWE Revealed

- Several WWE sources have noted that John Cena getting some time off from the ring is the best thing that could have happened to him. Word has been going around that Cena is really banged up a lot worse than most people realize and he desperately needed rest from the job.

- The rumors of top independent women's wrestler Sara Del Rey being brought in as a trainer to the WWE developmental Divas are apparently true. Del Rey recently reported to the NXT facilities after finalizing her deal and appears in a new Tout video from Bill DeMott with other trainers Norman Smiley and Joey Mercury.

No word yet if WWE has plans for Del Rey to wrestle on the main roster.

WWE Being Careful with Rey Mysterio, Update on Roddy Piper's Son Wrestling, WWE-ROH, More

- WWE employees in the department responsible for removing YouTube footage were upset last week when the "fan video" aired on RAW of the CM Punk vs. John Cena Night of Champions finish. They have spent a lot of time lately taking down video from YouTube and they were upset because they saw the video on RAW as fans being encouraged to upload mobile video to YouTube, which they aren't supposed to be doing.

- For what it's worth, WWE is said to have taken more of an interest in ROH and is learning more about the promotion.

- We noted before that Roddy Piper's son Colt Toombs, a MMA fighter, is interested in joining WWE. Colt is currently training with Lynn Denton in Portland, Oregon to become a wrestler.

- WWE officials have had Rey Mysterio working a much safer style lately because they want to avoid an injury that will cause him to miss another WrestleMania pay-per-view.
